On April 1 and 2, 2026, Shift2 will be attending the NVVB conference in Noordwijkerhout. This year’s conference is centered around the theme “Pioneering Civil Affairs.”

Together with our partner vrijBRP, you’ll find us at booths 10 and 11. The Shift2 team will be happy to tell you more about our election application. In addition, the vrijBRP team will show you what our civil affairs application has to offer.

On the first day of the conference (April 1), we will also be hosting an interesting workshop from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., in collaboration with the municipality of Hoeksche Waard.

Workshop: Modern Digital Services for All Levels of Civil Affairs in Practice

As a civil affairs department, how can you design digital services in a way that improves the service experience for residents, reduces the workload for staff, and ensures the organization remains agile? During this workshop, we’ll guide you through:

  • How this works in practice with vrijBRP, Gravity Forms, and MIJN environments
  • Why this model is applicable and valuable for every municipality
  • What's already possible and what's coming in the future
