For other local authorities

We can also assist local authorities in the Netherlands that fall outside the categories of municipalities, water boards, and provinces, such as Regional Implementation Services (RUDs), tax partnerships, safety regions, environmental services, social work companies, and joint arrangements, as a partner in digital services. We have the knowledge, understand the challenges, and offer solutions that transform your processes.

We help all local governments to be close to citizens and businesses where necessary, and to remain at a distance where possible. We make it easier to do business with the government.

How do we help local governments with their challenges?

Accessible information

By providing residents and businesses with optimal and accessible information.

Digital

By allowing residents and businesses to submit and arrange matters digitally. But also by providing information about their applications.

Direction

By giving residents and businesses control over their own data.

Safe and modern

By securely and modernly connecting digital services with digital integrations of task and case systems.

Optimal processing

And by ensuring that specialists can process optimal services in the back-office systems.

In other words: Our solutions and services are designed to improve communication, simplify administrative processes, and increase efficiency. All of this is done in accordance with the guidelines and legislation that Dutch local authorities must comply with.

What sets us apart is that, as an organization, we focus solely on providing software solutions to local governments in the Netherlands. This means that we have substantive knowledge and focus. We are not just a supplier with products and services that meet the wishes and requirements of a government. We are that too, but above all we are a partner that works with the government to strive for optimal digital services. "Together we improve" is our slogan, and that is what all local governments can expect from us.

The added value of our solutions for local governments

2. Residents and businesses applying for and arranging matters online

An indispensable part of offering digital services is the ability to apply for, change, or arrange matters online. We offer various solutions, such as our Form, e-services, and MyResident or MyBusiness solutions. These enable your residents and businesses to request and arrange services online. From permit applications to address changes, our e-services are designed to streamline processes and increase customer satisfaction. With Shift2's solutions, residents and businesses can easily submit and track their requests, ensuring faster and more efficient service.

3. Online consultation and self-service

This increases transparency and reduces the workload for employees. Residents can access their information anytime, anywhere, which increases trust and satisfaction.

4. Integrating with systems

Our software integrates seamlessly with existing back-office systems, ensuring efficient data exchange and smooth processing of requests. This means less manual input and fewer errors, resulting in a more streamlined and efficient service. Integrations with and between our software are based on the standard interfaces used by local authorities, from Standard Exchange Formats and messages to established APIs.

Digital services are more than just an online intake with a resident or company.

Digital services are the chain from intake to processing, without anyone having to enter data manually and without residents or businesses being asked to provide information that the government already has.

What if a resident or business is unable to resolve an issue through the digital service process?

Shift2 stands for contact and connection, so we offer solutions for this too. For example, we offer a Customer Contact System, which is used as a support tool to provide immediate assistance to residents and businesses who contact us by phone. Smart integrations with a PDC and other web content are immediately available. If a resident or business cannot be helped directly on the phone, the call is transferred or a callback is initiated in the second line. Our KCS solution is therefore the ideal extension of digital services.

Modern architecture and construction principles

Local governments face the challenge of modernizing their digital infrastructure and keeping it secure. At Shift2, we understand these challenges and apply the following principles to meet your specific needs.

Safety and reliability

Given the daily exposure of provinces to cyberattacks, we provide robust security measures. Our solutions meet the highest security standards, so your data is always safe.

Transparency and cooperation

We promote cooperation and knowledge sharing between local governments. By increasing efficiency and consistency, we help you improve and innovate your services.

Flexibility and agility

Our systems are designed to be quickly adaptable to new technologies and changes in legislation and regulations. This ensures that you always remain up to date and can respond to new developments.

Data integrity and accessibility

We ensure excellent information management, whereby data is managed securely, accessibly, and accurately. This is crucial for data-driven working and maintaining public trust.

Ease of use

Our solutions are designed with the user in mind. Both residents and local government employees can easily use our systems, which reduces workload and increases satisfaction.

By applying these principles, we support you in your digital transformation and help you achieve your service objectives. At Shift2, we are ready to help you every step of the way.
